Effective Coaching: Building Strong Professional Relationships

Description: By the end of this program, early-career professionals with 0-3 years of experience, such as new managers or aspiring leaders, will have developed their mentoring and coaching skills. They will be able to define mentoring and coaching, understand their importance in professional settings, and develop effective listening skills. Participants will also gain the knowledge and skills to use modern mentoring and coaching techniques, such as video conferencing, email coaching, and individual and group coaching sessions. This will enable them to identify the needs of their team members, guide them towards achieving their goals, and foster personal and professional development while building positive relationships. The program will include instructional videos and interactive activities.

Objective:

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Define the purpose of coaching, its benefits, and how it differs from training and mentoring.

• Distinguish between the five contexts of coaching and identify the appropriate strategies for each.
